Reflection: Fourth Grading Period

“Self-reflection is the catalyst of change.”

“YES!!,” I screamed at last, for it will be the last time of making my own reflection with regards to the knowledge I've gain with this subject ICT-IV just when the last time I made with the very first one. Time really moves so fast and I can’t imagine that this chapter will about to end.
When it comes to studying, sometimes I think that it could be one of life's most boring and mundane activities. So I can easily be worn out in some days that I literally don’t feel like reviewing or previewing my school works. But in reality it’s not because with those activities, home works and projects, we became better in such a way that we can learn a lessons from it that serve as our motivation in fulfilling our goals and aspirations in life and so be it with this subject.
Now, I can say that all our hardships, struggles and perseverance are all worth it and the reason why we’re about to face a new chapter in life.

My Dream, My Future

The feel of the sun's rays that finds its way to the window and the cool soothing air due embraces my whole body await my eyes as I headed towards our terrace. I really like the feeling when every time I wake up, there's a smile forming on my lips. "What a wonderful beginning," I thought.
With so much thoughts rushing on my mind, I didn't notice that I had already dressed up ready for my work. Before I'll leave the house, I faced myself once more from the full-sized mirror to check if I'm that presentable. I'm wearing an ironed office uniform, black eyeglasses and a bunch of papers on my hands. Well, I can really say that I'm now a successful accountant.
My co-workers greeted me with a smile as I entered in our office and as a respect, I greeted them back. I went to my table and seated to my swivel chair. I sighed deeply as I began to work. I can see again the scientific calculator and bunch of papers there at my table. During the middle of working, I can't help but to felt stressed because really, I'm still a person who can feel tiredness.
At the end of my work, I straightly went home and without a word, I jumped to my bed and the last time I remember is the slowly shutting of my eyes. Well, that's my dream in the future.

Change: It Starts with Me

Because things are the way they are, things will not stay the way they are.
Bertolt Brecht
Change, a simple word consisting of six letters but an amazingly powerful and often times emotionally charged word. It is an act that is hard to do in a way that will make our life better. But nothing is impossible if we have the willingness to excel in life and have the courage to really change ourselves.
Life changes in every step we make. Though it’s a little bit hard, experiences will help us to change our personality through the things we’ve learned in life that will serve as our inspiration to be a better person. Although several people usually never change their habits or even their selves, they learn and change in their own unique way and in other aspects.
Having a positive thoughts and choosing to move forward with a gratitude and appreciation for the opportunities can change our lives. Well, Change doesn’t only starts with letter “C”, it is also starts with “Me.”

Reflection (Third Grading Period)

Improvement begins with I.
Arnold H. Glasow
For the nth time, I can say again that time really moves so swiftly. Another bunch of learning is kept in mind. More on HTML links, framesets and others.
The problem is, I can still have sleepless nights doing assignments like those drafts and I can’t help but to get stressed. However, I still find it challenging though, it motivates me to exert more effort in making compositions.
In fact, if there is darkness, there is always going to be light, no matter where you go. And with that, I know that those pressures will vanish soon.

New Year, New Me

“As the year comes to an end, don’t look back at yesterday's disappointment.
Look ahead to God's promises yet to unfold.”
Buky Ojelabi
A tickin' and a tockin'
Clock ticks before the midnight and I have been up all night with thoughts looming in my mind. Hey! It’s in the 31st day of December and there’s still an hour left before ending up the year 2014 and coming up for the year 2015.
I spend this one hour thinking what will going to happen this coming New Year. They say, New Year means new life. Is that so? Well, for me, you don’t have to change because it’s New Year and one thing more, that’s even impossible. I think, the most appropriate term for New Year is improve or should I say, be a better person. At this point, we finally have the courage to look forward for the betterment of our future.
Now, it’s time you craft a step and create a trail to a newfangled one. Stop promising and waiting for the good things to come across in our doorway just make a move now and take an action.

Essence of Christmas

You'd Better Not Pout!
This is the message of Christmas: We are never alone
-Taylor Caldwell

The feel of the cool soothing air dew embraces my whole body and the sun’s rays that find its ways to the half-opened window forced my eyes to open. Yes, I was awakened by the gentle breeze that the morning offers me and I can’t really help myself in repeating this act. Maybe, this is what they’ll call December feels.
Speaking of this month, wherein Jesus Christ, the Great Redeemer was born, we’re all aware that it is the happiest season of the year. Christmas as we called it, celebrated every 25th day of December.

As we can see, colorful lanterns, shimmering lights, decorated Christmas trees and Belen’s are hanging everywhere. Well, it has been our tradition which symbolizes the spirit of Christmas. Some also says that Santa Claus is a part of it and maybe they really believe that Santa Claus really exists.
Nevertheless, Christmas is the season of joy, happiness, togetherness, hope and love. It is a time thanksgiving, loving sharing and forgiving one’s fellowman. So we must put Jesus Christ as the center of our life. Not only that but also bear this into your mind that Christmas is not just all about Santa Claus, giving gifts to the children, it is not just all about Rudolph, the red nose reindeer but it is all about Jesus Christ who was born in the Bethlehem.
