We have to face the
reality of climate change. It is arguably the
biggest threat we are facing today.
-William Hague
Climate change is one of our major problems
that are partially caused by the natural cycles of Earth. The world’s climate
is changing, and the changes will have an enormous impact in our daily lives.
Greenhouse gases, carbon dioxide, and fossil
fuel are some of the factors lead to climate change which is dangerous to human
health and ecosystems. It is already affecting our communities through
increasingly frequent and severe droughts, floods, extreme storms, sea level
rise, and heat waves.
All commitments to change our individual and
collective behavior can be based on a moral commitment to environmental sustainability,
motivated by a deeply-held concern for the well being of future generations,
other living beings and Earth systems.
Measures to stop climate change need to be
taken now. We should make a move now, stand on an edge and clutch one’s hand
for uniformity to make this world a better place.
